It happened he won and got me to finally take a picture. This past Mother's Day I went to visit him and go to church before the semester ended for Summer. That is why the post is a bit delayed because I had a ton of finals that I needed to focus on. I arrived Saturday night after my Young Single Adult (YSA) activity. I got there around 8:45ish and Carlos had arranged Lou to pick me up since he was working. Lou took me to the house were I met Romeo and Julius (the adorable dogs) and Carlene. They were extremely nice and friendly and we got along rather quickly. Around 10:30-10:45ish Carlene left to go upstairs and join Lou (he had already decided to go to bed) while I decided to wait up for Carlos to return home from work. He got home around 11:15 and I was so excited. He had to finish some of his journal entries for school but since Julius was getting jealous of Carlos's attention towards me, I typed while Carlos told me what to say. I only dictated two out of the three entries. The third one he asked me not to read till after he was done. That entry was a really special one to me. Afterwards Julius fell asleep and we stayed up till 3:30ish talking, cuddling, laughing, and pretty much just enjoying each others company. It was a perfect night and a wonderful glimpse into our future. If that is how my Saturday nights are when we get married I will be the happiest person alive. When we finally decided we should go to bed it took like ten minutes of us saying goodnight before we finally went to sleep. He kissed me at the door of the room I was staying in. The next morning we all got ready for church then had breakfast then continued getting ready and left. Carlos and I are still getting used to using the term fiance, so when introducing me hardly either one of us said anything but Carlene was so quick to pipe up with the phrase. After church I stayed with Carlene and Lou while they had people over and Carlos had to once again go to work. It was nice I wouldn't have wanted to spend the weekend any other way. I enjoyed the people I met you could tell their love and care they have towards Carlos. Now I am in Jersey looking for work waiting for the 106 days to quickly pass. We will see how fast this Summer goes.

Hello.
So I guess I will just explain who I am and why I am blogging. Ever since I moved to New York for school my life has been crazy. Now don't get me wrong I love my life and would not trade it for anything in the world. It is just that with so much changing I wanted to express myself and since I have three journals (I will explain later) I thought this would be appropriate.
Three months ago I met the man I will spend eternity with. We will be getting married June of 2012 and I can't wait. It was not what I planned and it happened rather fast but I know he is the one; My eternal companion. He lives in NY as well but will be moving closer to me and once we get married I will move in with him.
We know it will be hard with both of us going to school but it is what we know we are suppose to do and if we have faith and trust in the Lord a way will be provided.
